With a licensed refracting optician on staff, we offer customers sight testing along with a great selection of eyewear in one location. Our automated digital refraction system is the latest state-of-the-art equipment. Operated with a sophisticated computer program, our licensed optician can take a digital reading, of healthy eyes, for people between the ages of 19 to 65.

By testing and measuring your eyesight, we can get your new prescription lenses or contacts without any delay. Time is a precious commodity in our day. Sight testing is available by appointment by calling 604-873-8732, and we do our best to accommodate walk-ins.

Our digital sight testing, however, doesn’t replace your regular health check. Please see your eye doctor to ensure the long-term health of your eyes.

During a fitting at On Time Optical you will have a one-on-one consultation with one of our opticians. We take a measurement of your eye surface to help determine which type of contact lenses will suit the curvature of your eye, and what aberrations your prescription requires in a soft or hard contact lens.

Whether you choose daily or monthly disposable contact lenses for your vision, the next step in a contact lens fitting is instruction on inserting and removing. While practicing what you’ve just learned in the store, we will also make sure you know how to care for your lenses at home for the best possible transition to your new eyewear.
